I went to college with him & had no clue he had an addiction. He was very nice & polite & asked me for a ride home one day. He had a nice home in a good neighborhood & seemed completely normal. I do remember him sleeping alot! Always sleepy & tired. Always asleep in class and nodding off. After seeing the show I understood why 🙁 I hope he is doing ok.

As far as addiction trigger, I’d say the fact that his mom was working all the time and he had to parent himself man have had something to do with it.

I’m not sure where you get your information from. He never parented himself. Yes I owned a business when he turned 10 yrs old I have 3 kids. He was always a straight A honor role student and a great athlete. I know it’s easy to blame parents. If I am to blame I’m sorry but you are the first person to blame me. I should get the credit for what a great son, husband, friend and person he is. But I don’t take credit he was all them things because of himself not anyone else. I did everything I could for my children. He was always the easy one. I do believe Ricky has and oppressive personality. Everything he has done and still does is 150% or not at all. I hope you know what that means if not google it. Sorry I had to explain my son to you.
