What’s memorable: The nasty abscesses and infections, stabbing himself in the gut so he could go to the hospital and get drugs, going once a week to the very sketchy Juarez, Mexico to smuggle heroin over the border. And the girlfriend of his, Crystal, ironically a drug and alcohol counselor, who completely takes care of him like a mother and enables him to stay an addict. And now she’s addicted to heroin too. I’m thinking she might not be a great addiction counselor.
Official Synopsis: Nick, 23, uses his business talents to deal in heroin rather than business. Once the apple of his father’s eye and destined to carry on his successful business practices, Nick’s early rule-breaking and experimentation in drugs landed him as the black sheep of the family. Now abandoned by his family, Nick lives in a heroin daze, crossing the border into Mexico to get his next fix.

i feel like Nick’s episode is an exellent reminder that giving your kids TOO much can have disastrous consequences. in contrast to most of the addicts on the show, Nick (as far as we know, anyway) had no major traumas in his life with no clear addiction trigger. what he did have was an overly permissive family that gave him everything and let him do whatever he wanted – and this is the result. i hope Nick is clean now, the fact that he’d go into Juarez just to get a fix is insane.
I hope Nick is clean and still doing okay today. He seems like a sweet person who took the wrong path to life… (His intervention literally brought me to tears just like he did.)
I haven’t watched this episode in years but it has certainly stayed with me. I can honestly say that I have an uncanny ability to find positive attributes is most every body but I simply couldn’t find anything redeeming about Nick other than perhaps a very superficial charm. I have zero doubt that Nick has an underlying personality disorder…my guess is NPD but like I said I haven’t watched in years. I hope this isn’t offensive to anyone…that’s not my intent and I genuinely hope he is well.
has there been any other updates on nick or Crystal?
normally watching people shoot up isn’t difficult for me, but something about the way Nick struggled didn’t sit well with me.
I get notifications on my Facebook almost everyday reminding how much I loved Nick and he loved me. I never realized how many times he would come home with roses. He did learn from his dad though…his parents are completely amazing and have absolutely beautiful souls. They have gone way above and beyond to help Nick. And they continue to do so. !!It’s been about 8 years and he has only maintained any kind of sobriety for about 3 years total (could be wrong); out of 8 years. Either way, he was the love of my life. He taught me so much about myself , and dating him has caused me to practically loose everything. My boys loved him. I get reminded about all the great times we had. I make sure to check on him monthly. From what I know, still on streets in the LA area. His dad paid for a medical detox not too long ago, however, like 98% the time, he will check himself out and go back to the streets. I am so sad for him. I believe he is truly a lost soul that can’t be saved. If you have kept up and watched any of his videos on various social media platforms, you will understand. I pray for him regularly, he is so mentally gone, that I honestly don’t think he will ever be the way he “was”. God bless his soul,
Me and his daughter love him very much. He also treated my sons from a previous marriage, so great. They absolutely loved Nick!
If any of you, “followers and/or supporters” know where he is at, I would love to know. I fell, him and I have a deep enough connection to have him listen to me. Or even if you know his phone number. Lord knows that he has had like a thousand different phone numbers spread around the country. Lol. He is pretty awesome. Documentary worthy. Lol. Love you Nickie poo. I believe in you.

Does anyone know if he passed away after losing his phone?
I totally get how some people can just have a grip on you.. I saw some of his videos from the last year or so and it makes me quite sad. I hope all the best for you
Are you stating Nick’s the father of your child? I was trying to get info on him and found his parents’ FB…they don’t seem to claim another grandchild (claiming his brother’s child was their “first grandchild.”

Any updates on Nick? I was actually in the background of his intervention episode (in the Dallas airport, face blurred wearing a mark chmura jersey on the walking escalator) and used to be friends with him on Facebook. Just wondering how he’s doing.
I got an email today from venmo requesting money and giving me a sob story. I will no longer continue to send him money, especially seeing the state that he is in. But he’s still alive. So that’s good I guess.
You had been giving him money??? Come on… you comment here every 2 hours. You probably stalk these people. Now you’re meddling into their addictions and that’s messed up. Focus on yourself, you clearly have issues of your own.

Nothing that you read on this site could be considered doxxing under the most commonly understood definition of the term. I delete actual doxxy info in comments before they’re ever published, although over the years a couple have mistakenly slipped though. If you consider posting someone’s last name to be doxxing, which I do not in this situation, what I can tell you is that I always remove last names and any other identifying info from the comments when requested to do so by the subject or their family members, out of respect.
this is only my second time (now 3rd) commenting. whoever is kitty Katt is not me. I did pay for his prescription antibiotics (I called the pharmacy and paid them directly) which is what I mean by I sent him money. I will no longer buy him minutes for his phone, food, etc. I never sent him direct money. I am a recovering addict and will not support that. so idk what you’re talking about doxxing for. you don’t know the whole story. and your assumptions are wrong.

So I got in touch with nick. He’s in LA and says he’s doing horrible, as expected. I had an old # for him so I sent him a dollar on cashapp and he requested more from me and gave me a new #. He won’t really disclose much info but says his Facebook is locked. Didn’t tell me why. I didn’t give him more money.

Hello everyone! I came here to see if there was an update on Nick. All the links that are posted here either don’t exist or are lock downed which they hadn’t been before. Does anyone have a current link to his facebook account? Thanks in advance.
So as of this morning, apparently he deleted or deactivated the Facebook page he was using (Nick L Good). His page was still active yesterday but he hadn’t posted anything for awhile.
I don’t see it anymore.
I feel for Nick, but at the same time know if you want to thrive and get better anyone can.
He may be too far gone or what not, but there is always hope if he is still alive
I was on massive opioids and fentanyl for years by drs.
They fkd me up and I lost 20 years of my life.

Nick is still very deep in addiction . He personally tried to contact me on social media for $$ as we are friends . He is out in California doing heroin . He constantly makes excuses as to why ge won’t go to treatment despite numerous live feed videos asking for sympathy and $$ . His family and friends have sadly all abandoned him . Like myself and so many others who struggle with addiction I pray he gets help .
What is going on with this thumb and leg? Did he ever seek medical attention for either? The thumb photos on his FB page are horrific. Hoping the day arrives when he decides its time to stop doing drugs and get some serious help.
I check his FB every day for updates but he hasn’t posted anything since April 4th. Google brings up nothing but an old mugshot.
He has been back online this week. Yesterday, he was online a few times and posted a FB live showing him in a toilet stall for 15 or 20 minutes. He has since taken it down. So although it seems likely he is still using drugs and living on the streets, at least he is alive. So as long as he is alive, there is hope for him and his loved ones. ❤️
He did indeed go to the hospital and they amputated his thumb. Despite having a 💯 paid medical detox and rehab paid, by his loving family, he chooses to stay on the street and live this lifestyle. I have always wanted him to see his worth; unfortunately, I have come to believe he is one of the “few” that just can’t and/or doesn’t want to get, nor stay clean.

I also noticed you mentioned seeing SARAH P on Facebook. Can you please share that link, too? I’ve been eager to see her life today, and I always prayed that Jacoby was doing well! The vice channel recently showed her episode, but the fb links others posted on Sarah do not work! Ty!

Not a peep out of Nick for a few weeks now. (On Facebook) His thumb and now leg as well are absolutely horrific. What he’s doing to himself is just heartbreaking. I just did a Google search on him (Jerry Nicholas Carter) and didn’t see any current arrests. It will be interesting to hear what he has to say when he resurfaces.

I’m so very happy for her and the family! As far as Nick, ugh breaks my heart! We’re slowly watching him die and it’s so very sad! I really believed he could beat it. My prayers are with Nick always! Just saw this episode, he seems to be living on the streets and in bad condition. His appearance has significantly deteriorated.

He posted again last night, rambling about intense burns on his chest and how his hand probably needs to be amputated. 🙁 def the worst shape he has been in. Of course people are telling him he needs to get help and he keeps saying “it’s not that simple”. He was nodding off filming himself, like someone else said I think this is the bottom. But he keeps posting to FB so obviously wanting some kind of connection

He’s even worse off now. Via FB, his thumb needs to be amputated, actually it’s been needing to be amputated but he refuses to go to a hospital. He is possibly already septic. Tread lightly if you go to look-he posts a lot of graphic photos 🙁 He’s definitely in his final days if he doesn’t get medical attention in the next 24 hours or less… even his dad says he has treatment and detox lined up for him but he still won’t accept help. So sad.
I’ve been following his posts on FB for the past few months and omg, what a hectic situation. I shouldn’t have clicked “view this photo.” Oye. I’m afraid everytime he DOESN’T post something that he has lost his battle. That sepsis is no joke. It’s just so sad.

I can’t take much more of this. He’s been talking about his injured thumb for weeks now. Poor guy, he’s rock bottom. I’m still praying for you, Nick. But I have this awful, sinking feeling he’s going to be next on the list of those who passed. Very sad, he’s still so young! Hang in there, Nick. 😕

Ugh! This is painful to watch! I don’t think we have ever seen an addict from the show have such a documented demise. I feel like through many of his posts, he is taking us right along with him on this desperate, dead-end journey. It’s not looking good for Nick. The recent fb post and links don’t work, but maybe that’s a good thing? I can’t take anymore of this. My prayers are with you Nick. 🙏

And still are. It never ceases to amaze me that she’s still alive after using nonstop for more than 25 years.
I can’t seem to find anywhere how crystal was doing. Most of you on here think she was part of the problem but I don’t. I think she had a good heart and good intentions, and maybe had a soft spot for addicts or anyone struggling. I think she truly wanted to help Nick. I think although it was a terrible decision to get on heroin, I just think those people with big hearts will do anything and everything to understand why someone hurts them. Doesn’t care is very difficult for people like crystal, because she clearly loves and cares with everything she has. I’m not sure what Nick had to offer crystal that she would manipulate to keep him? I think she truly cares. I wondered where she was today, and if she is okay. Narcissists will destroy an empath’s life and keep right on moving along.
Anyway, I hope crystal has a new fabulous life and has put this behind her
