Erin saying “Pay attention to all the rules” to Cody was very wholesome. I really, truly hope that they both will remain sober in the future. I am not sure about it because of how it ended (I do not want to spoiler) but there is always hope..

After watching since season 1 you start to get gut reactions and strong intuition when a participant just isn’t ready for treatment even when they agree to go. I felt that strongly with Erin. But I was hopeful for both of them! They are still young and capable of finding long term sobriety! Sad to say but it seems like younger and younger people are getting addicted. Cody’s daughter was so sweet and cute I hope he continues to do well and be a dad to her! I also love seeing this season how supportive ex partners have been with allowing contact with their children and their ex and even being active in supporting their ex through the intervention! That support/love is so important not just for the addict but for their children too! This season has been so very impactful! 🩶

I’m hoping that both Cody and Erin can find a better life. They both seem like good people. Erin in particular is an absolute sweetheart. It seemed like her past was kind of glossed over and may have been even worse than shown. Unfortunately they both started as addicts extremely young, which seems to be harder to shake.

Hoping they can figure it out for their sake and their families. They both have a lot to offer and it’s never too late.
