    1. Jamie Jacobs

hello. I so apologize as I’m just getting the nerve to write on this now and don’t enjoy reading bad comments but it comes with the territory! Thankyou everyone sincerely with all of my heart for your care and concern and to the haters, bless you too. it’s not been an easy road but I would not change it for the world! It’s been messy. blessed, and makes me full of compassion to have struggled the way I did and do! I pray I find you all well and again thakyou for he concern it has touched my heart and forever changed me!

  2. Kristy

I was in the hospital with Jamie 2yrs ago. What an amazing girl & personality she has! Very curious if there will be an update show for Jamie, or how she is doing? Jamie, if you see this, keep your head up sweetie!

    1. TJ

Was she still sober when you saw her? I hope so. Her story touched me so much! Everyone assumes being a Christian means you either are or think you are immune to problems but it’s opposite. Once you are dedicated to living for Jesus, now the enemy really has reason to attack you. I really would love to know if she’s still doing well.

      1. Brooklyn

Yes Jamie is doing well I am Jamie’s good friend and we are in recovery together

  3. Kristy

I’m really not sure. Some weird stuff was going on. I was good friends with a friend of hers that was also in the hospital with us. And Jamie was having these drug dealers bring in garbage bags filled with designer brand name clothes. I could have swore I seen her on the bus 3 weeks ago or so, but couldn’t get a good look because she was in front of me. If it was her, than she seems to be doing okay. This girl was putting make-up, looked like she was going to work. I’ve tried to search her on fb, finally found her & added her, but she didn’t accept. Would love to know how she’s doing. She’s a great girl.

    1. Irene

Hmm… that’s definitely fishy about the drug dealers and the designer clothes. Even if she is sober it’s not healthy for her to be around that sort of unlawful stuff. If you find out any new information let us know.

  4. Kristy

I can’t even remember Jamie’s last name to search her again on facebook 🙁

    1. TJ

If you ever do find her on FB or anything, I’d love to know. I really felt such a desire to contact her. I read a super judgmental jerk write a blog about her and totally criticize her addiction to drugs and Jesus. I hated the attitude. Loving Jesus doesn’t mean you don’t have addictions or make mistakes, it means you know that you are fallen and need Jesus!

    2. Amy

      Its jacobs

  5. Madeline

Candy Finnigan’s facial expressions during this intervention made me laugh out loud. The dad literally throws the standard intervention letter, calling it garbage.
Dad: “Everybody said I was the strongest man in the world…”
Camera pans to Candy’s face. *Unimpressed*

    1. DeannaMarie

He had to make everything about himself 🙄

    2. Katie

      Priceless 😂🙏

  6. Meg

Update I found on Jamie.. Hope she’s doing well she seemed like such a sweet and caring soul.

  7. Julie

Nice find, Meg! So happy to see Jamie looking so healthy and happy.

  8. Lindsay J.

Oh I love this update on Jamie. I went to high school with her and her twin. They were always so sweet to me.

  9. kitty katt

As of 4/2/18 – her FB page says her step father passed away. Such a shame.

    1. Tazz

Her stepdad passed, not her bio-dad (who was on the show).

      1. kitty katt

Yes, that’s what I said. Her step father.

  10. Hdhdhdhdh

Great to see she is doing well! Any idea what happened to her sister Susan?

    1. Anonymous

She is addicted to Fentanyl and Meth and is in worse shape than ever. She really doesn’t care either

      1. HollyB

Jamie is worse off now? That makes me sad to hear because she is a beautiful person with a good heart. I hope she’s ok now that some time has passed since your comment.

      2. Kara Bishop

Holly B I think they were talking about Susan because if you look, the comment is in response to someone asking about how Susan is not Jamie. But who knows if this comment is even real.

  11. Michaela

This intervention was wild. Her sister having a breakdown and then calling her before the intervention started was so cruel and selfish. She’s definitely got her own issues that have nothing to do with just looking out for Jamie. Her dad! No words, Candy’s face said it all. The best one there was her pastor, she gave a lovely speech. Poor girl I hope Jamie is doing well and to be honest, is away from the family.

  12. Kerry Love

I truly feel for Jamie… her family reminded me so much of mine w all the mental illness and chaos and codependency.. holding space for you, Jamie. xo

  13. Melissity

Jamie’s dad made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Narcissist and a faith leader. Scary combo. I hope Jamie is staying healthy. Susan too.

    1. LK

Unfortunately that combo is all too common. A lot of narcissistic, abusive, manipulative men flock to religious leadership positions because of the patriarchal nature of many religions: there they will be an unquestioned authority, in total control, and face no consequences for their actions. Sexually abusive priests are an example. Honestly, Jamie’s dad made my skin crawl.

      1. Nicole

Candy’s facial expressions got me through his “speech”

  14. Todd

I took another look at this episode today. I like Jamie, I like her a lot. She seemed to me to be a real nice girl that was wild in her youth and was having a bit of trouble getting out of that scene. From everything I can see she’s now a completely clean, religious, proper young woman. Looks like she found the strength to start a new life sans drugs and alcohol. You have to give her a lot of credit when you consider her twin sister didn’t get out of the scene. Her Father, well that guy, even though his heart was in the right place – I thought he was quite a bit full of himself. The other sister, the one that lived, I believe her name was Susan – I didn’t really care for her. She struck me as half nuts. She didn’t have the sweetness or kindness Jamie has. Anyway, good episode and looks like all is well that ends well for Jamie. Good for her!

  15. Taylor

Jamie’s dad is terrible, his intervention speech was a joke, this is the first time I’ve ever commented on here but he had me boiling. Throwing the papers like a child ONTO Jamie’s lap,she had to pick it up and the papers that fell on the floor mid tears while dad is going on about “You’ve never seen me cry I’m the strongest man in the world” disgusting narcissist, then proceeds to go on about how shes a terrible person and sinner.I can’t believe they didn’t kick him out.

    1. Nicole

Laughing because I also got nine seasons in before commenting here, and this was the one that did me in. If it weren’t for Candy’s facial expressions while listening to Jamie’s Dad, or her pastor who was the only one who truly showed UP to the intervention that day.. I might have thrown my laptop out the window watching this episode.

    2. Kara Bishop

I’m surprised no one mentioned how young her dad’s fiancé, Kate looked… she never talk. She just sat there really quiet while he did all the talking/controlling. maybe you guys maybe you guys thought that was another sister or friend but that was his fiancé and she was way younger than his daughters…but you never know maybe she just looks really young.

  16. The Dad From The Episode

    I’m still a total douche

    1. Ian

      This is beautiful.

  17. Alexandra

So glad a previous comment posted her Facebook! She looks happy and healthy. I hope Susan is as well.

  18. Kara Bishop

I really like when people post the Facebook link, since we are rooting for their sobriety, and it feels good to finally have some sort of answer. It really looks like Jamie has found her sobriety, peace and love that she was looking for! I really liked her a lot! I felt for her, and all the trauma that she went through, the abuse, her twin sister, overdosing, and near the same time her brother-in-law committing suicide (which she stated in the video which is linked comments
above). In the video, you learn more about all the drugs she did…way more than ketamine and alcohol. And it sounded like she kept using after intervention and then went into a treatment place in Windsor where she found sobriety. I hope that her sister Susan is doing well, in spite of what an anonymous commented. I don’t know if anyone noticed but on her twin sister Jennifer’s obituary page, it says that she had a daughter named Cassandra. Hope she is doing well also. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jamie and her sister and family! 🙏🏼❤️

Another one of Candy’s fantastic interventions! She is an amazing and compassionate interventionist…my fav!! When I start an episode, I always hope candy is going to be the interventionist! ❤️

  19. Kara Bishop

I tried looking for Susan on Facebook but I could not find her. I’m not really good at researching and finding people on FB. But I did find Susan’s daughter(I think) Arianna on FB. I did this by looking on Jamie’s page and the first post was about her niece (Arianna) and a link to a go fund me page about how her dog was severely burned and in the hospital. Jamie said that it was her sister’s daughter… So I assumed it was Susan’s daughter because her twin sister’s daughter’s name is Cassandra. I looked at the obituary of her twin sister to get the last name of her niece. I had no idea what she looked like but I assumed she would be from Windsor. So when I looked at Arianna’s FB, there was a picture of the same dog that was on Jamie’s FB. I’m not going to put the link because anyone can do this themselves. But I just wanted to let you know that on her daughter’s friends list , I did not find Susan but I found Jamie. But maybe Susan does not have a Facebook page. I didn’t look very good, but I didn’t really see anything about Susan on either Facebook page. Maybe somebody who is better at this will research in hopes to see how Susan is doing. I very much wish her well, and hope that she is also in a life of sobriety and happiness and peace and love.! ❤️

  20. Brit

Any update on Jamie? I have so much love for Jamie and Susan too, I hope they are both ok. I know the Windsor scene and it’s a mess

    1. Jamie Jacobs

Thank-you Britt. This is Jamie. I’m the late show and just found these comments. I’m appreciative for all the kindness, really, really am! I am doing gvery well now, only thanks to God, sobriety and the love of others! Again thanks for your concern girl!

  21. Todd

If you have any interest in viewing one of the funniest moments in Intervention history, check out this episode. During the Intervention, Jamie’s Father says “Everybody told me I was the strongest man in the world” – after he says this – notice the expression on Candy’s face. It had me hysterical last night!

    1. Stefan

I had to rewatch it to see for myself and she indeed gives him the stink-eye, and rightfully so.

    2. kittykatt

I’ve caught Candy multiples times rolling her eyes with what people say. She literally rolls them as if she’s saying stfu already.

  22. Noah

I loved using alcohol and ketamine together and when i found intervention i was so surprised that there was only one episode that acknowledged ketamine at all. Is it that rare of a substance in terms of addiction?
