Does anyone know if she lived? Or what her story is now? I was really pulling for her when I first watched this episode on netflix. It’s been 10 years!
Id love to know an update too. Her falling asleep at the lawyers was painful to watch. Anyone remember when Jeff came back a few months later to check in? I feel like we got to see a different nice side to him.
I just updated about Rachel
We need an update on Rachel. This was one of the few episodes that really had me crying. I could relate to her. UPDATE PLEASE
I know Rachel she is not on heroin anymore and not on the streets she lives back with her parents she is doing good but her friend had started doing it the one that brought her on there but Carrie is clean also now
Do they have social media?
I’m pretty sure this is her. Her eyes/facial features are pretty similar to what she looked liked on the show except for the bleach blonde hair dye. If anyone else can verify if it is her otherwise correct me if I’m wrong.

From what I can see, if it is her, looks like her friends are worried about her because she hasn’t been in touch with them lately. If I was to assume, I would say it doesn’t sound too good.
Its definitely her! Awesome that you found her! I am from Baltimore also and we have alot of mutual friends. Shes friends with alot of active users and prostitutes because I know them personally and very well! That doesn’t mean anything though really I suppose.
I always wondered what happened to her after the show. For some reason, she stuck out for me all these years. Personally, it would be very difficult for me to hang out with active users and stay sober. Major trigger point for me anyway. Hope she’s in a better place these days.
It’s definitely her, and I think it’s safe to say she’s not clean (she even shared a video of children smoking weed on her page in the last couple of weeks).
Thanks for the update Brandon! I’m really happy to hear that she is clean and doing good. Hopefully she can stay on the right track.
Does anyone know how Rachel is doing? I grew up in the neighborhood that this episode was filmed in so I’m really curious to see how she’s doing now.
I like how Rachel was real about her experience with treatment saying she was still sick after being clean for some time. I had 4 months clean from heroin and was still experiencing withdrawals, mostly just the cold sweats but it was terrible and eventually lead me to relapse. My ex BF was clean from being in jail for 90 days and still couldn’t sleep for more than a few hours at night. I know everyone’s body is different and the first time I went to treatment I could handle it bc I had only been strung out for like two months, the second time I was on mandatory suboxone as required by the program, and the third time withdrawals were sheer hell even 3 weeks later, and after 4 months I was still dope sick. That’s why I am so envious of these people who feel great after treatment. Not only was I still sick but suicidally depressed and had severe anxiety as well. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one. I ended up on methadone like Rachel. I hope that I am not on it forever, but I can only deal with one day at a time…
Nicole, best wishes for your dealing with your “one day at a time”. I will say a prayer.
I hope you are doing well Nicole
Hope Rachel still doing well
Was she living in Knoxville at all?
I wonder how she’s doing. She’s posted in her comment section about how she’s trying to stay clean and not go back to jail for violating probation.
She’s alive but still not well. Breaks my heart we grew up together 💔
