Poll: Who Do You Want to See A Followup On? Part 2

Ok so they don’t do whole followup episodes anymore unfortunately, but they do the Skype “Legacy” updates.  So let’s say we have a say in who Intervention reaches out to next. Who do you most hope to see on a future Legacy segment?

This will be done in four or five parts so that there aren’t too many to choose from.  I couldn’t include every single person that’s ever been on the show, so I had to narrow it down. The people who will be listed in these polls will have 1) not already had a follow up episode or Legacy update  2) have not provided updates here (meaning we know how they’re doing based on their comments) and 3) are the ones who have gotten at least a few “where are they now, does anyone have an update” comments.  If there’s someone you know meets those requirements and they aren’t listed, let me know and I’ll add them to the poll.

If there’s someone listed here that DOESN’T meet those qualifications, just assume that I know that and I included them for a reason.

Vote! (This is PART 2, Seasons 5-6.  PART 1 is here)

It’s so sad how many addicts from season 5 have passed away.

You forgot to include Marcel. While Sebastian died, Marcel is now married and doing great!

From the place I’m coming, I’d have to say Gabe. Not only did he have to deal with abandonment but also for the adoptive family dynamics: they were absolutely loving and well-meaning people but at the same time, they were bigots… It was their way (i.e. God’s way) or no way.

Faith is not something you can command at will and the parents just couldn’t wrap their head around it and kept throwing Gabe under the bus and under their faith. Gabe’s adoptive family is the ideal loving family as long as the kid’s values align with those of the parents but if you’re different (or God forbid!) if the kid is gay, they are going to send you to years and years of conversion therapy, because that’s what life is all about and that’s what God wants.

    1. Galusha

      Gabe is not gay.

    2. Stefan

Indeed, and they have the audacity to say gays are terrible parents.

  3. Eitan

I never said Gabe was gay. I said had it been the case, he probably would have been framed through years of conversion therapy to no avail. And the failure to “convert” would have been on him. I know all too well about these things…

I understand what you’re saying, and you’re probably right, but with all due respect it’s unfair for you to speculate on what other people you don’t know “might” do or “probably” would have done. That reflects your own bias/hatred towards Christians.

      1. Stefan

Um. I don’t think it takes much speculation to say that Gabe’s dad would’ve given him a hard time about it (his mom seemed to be more level headed).
