The mom made me very angry

    1. Stefan

She may have had her faults but was nothing compared to many of the others we’ve seen on the show.

      1. Pang

I agree. The mom knew she had faults and wanted to face them.

      2. Stefan

Case in point, Elliot’s mom from this week’s episode.

  2. Sue Ellen Hegstrom

So glad to see Sylvia doing interventions!

    1. Albert

Not judging, only commenting. Sylvia looks like she’s has a little work done.

      1. Angelica

So what if she did? Sylvia is amazing and cares so so much for everyone she encounters. I adore her.

  3. Pang

I hope he is still doing well- it was nice to see an episode with a positive ending.

  4. V

That final interview was the only time in the episode I saw his eyes! He looked so alert now. I really hope he goes on to achieve his dreams, he’s so young and has infinite possibilities ahead.

  5. Me

She’s a former addict and she expected her kid to not use because she said don’t??!!

  6. Nathan

This may be somewhat unrelated but I remember my Gym teacher showing me episodes of Intervention in the Substance Use and Abuse Unit in high school and all the Intervention episodes I saw on A&E in my free time featured drug addicts who were way older than me. Considering this episode was filmed in 2021 and considering I am born in the year 2001, it’s very sad to see episodes of Intervention that feature drug addicts who are young and the same age as me.

  7. Melissa Warner

I thought Sylvia did an amazing job with this one, especially in the way she related to the family.

    1. kelley

yes I totally agree! I thought she did such a great job and her presence is just so warm and calming. she’s great

  8. Angelica

Sylvia is incredible. She’s such a success story and she makes such a difference to so many people. I’m so happy she helped Jayden accept treatment.

    1. Elizabeth

I would follow her anywhere. All she has to do is give me a hug and ask me in that soft, sweet voice if I will go with her to treatment today and I’m there. Love her.
