“I swear there was an episode where the guy was an alcoholic pilot and was trying to mentor a protégé but was drunk and made no sense, do you remember who that was?”
Yes! That was Robin, Intervention Canada, Season 21.
“What episode was it where the female subject recognized the interventionist and starting repeating the show’s catchphrases back to him?”
Kaila, Season 13 did that and it was awesome.

What was the episode with a couple and the man’s mom was also an addict?
Looking for the episode where it was a woman who was an alcoholic who lived with her mother and her boyfriend/husband. I think she worked at a newspaper selling ad’s but what I vividly remember is her drinking on the way to work on the bus or train. She’d stop by the store on her walk to work to buy beer early in the morning.
Christine! https://intervention-directory.com/2010/05/episode-9-cristine/
There was an episode with a guy named “Matthew” I think. He was addicted to crystal meth and would masturbate alone in his room for hours or something. He was also an MMA fighter (I think?) and worked in the adult business. Can’t seem to find the episode and it’s driving me nuts.
That was Aaron Brink https://intervention-directory.com/2013/05/episode-88-aaron/
Looking for an episode of a bulemic teenager who had a sketchy boyfriend living in the family home who argued with the mom. She picked apart a Wendy’s burger and I believe also snorted drugs. She was from Canada I think.
Cassandra from season 1 of Intervention Canada. Her episode always stuck with me.
oh i wish this site had like buttons i would smash them lol
What is the episode from 2006ish where the woman and man are injecting something called crank (I think that’s what it was called) and the woman says “real men go first”?
What episode was it when Jeff admitted to relapsing?
That was a special episode where they talked to the Interventionists, on a stage together if I’m remembering correctly.
Episode where young woman with an eating disorder lives in her parent’s basement and they lock the door on her. She doesn’t have money so she steals to buy food to binge on. Cannot remember the episode for the life of me… thank you so much!
looking for an episode that i remember a few specific details about: it’s a younger woman who was doing oxys, and she said one of her first uses was 14 hits of acid, she had a dad and stepdad who both had been addicted to drugs at one point, she had a kid who lived with the grandparents and i remember a scene where her and the dad were at a restaurant or a diner and he asks her if she’s been using more or less lately than usual and she gets mad and storms off and cries and the dad goes after her. i also think she said something like “i love drugs more than i love my own child” in one of her interviews.
Sarah (season 7)
I’ve searched through all of the episodes tagged “meth” and can’t find this one! It’s an older episode I think, about a very young woman addicted to IV meth from a young age. The thing that stands out most in my memory is that she kept her meth and IV supplies in a little kit/box, kind of like a lunch kit? Am I imagining this episode?!
Michelle (season 2)
I can’t remember most of the details… but I do remember that he had two daughters (probably in their early teens) and the CUTEST dog, named Camel. I don’t remember for sure, but I think his addiction was anything he could get his hands on, and I believe that he and his brother were molested by a babysitter…. I also am pretty sure it was a Canadian episode. And he didn’t want to go to treatment because he was concerned about leaving his dog.. But for some reason, I can’t find his name… or anything about him!

?
Looking for an episode and hopefully an update. I think it was a Canadian episode—it was a female singer/former almost rock star who was addicted to crack and kept running away from her husband and two kids to binge. Any ideas?
I know the episode but can’t remember her name.
TJ (aka Terry) from Intervention Canada- her band was called Junkie & the Spider
Does anyone remember an episode with an older man, I can’t remember what his addiction was, I think alcohol but I’m not sure. He had a very sick wife at home and treated her like crap
That was Mark (S1E10). He was a piece of work!
Thank you!! 🙂 I was beginning to think I made that episode up in my head lol
Hi! There’s an episode that is toward the end of its season, about a man who is an addict (short brown hair white man in his 30s I think). He has a pretty ex girlfriend who is not an addict and she clearly loves him a ton, but has moved on with her life in some ways, yet still is in his life and he pined for her. I remember them sitting on a couch together. I think (could be wrong) he started with pain killers after an accident. any ideas? thanks!!
Eric, Season 13

Hey guys, been watching for years. The work you do is incredible! I feel like I remember seeing an episode where it was either the addict was asking for help from the cameraman or if it was another member of the family asking for help, and as with most real life/ documentary style shows you can’t really break the illusion and intervene.
Maybe Laney when she overdosed?
What episode did the man lock his wife in a room for days to keep her from drinking (prior to Intervention coming in)?
I believe Kimberly.
It was Kimberly but I don’t think the guy was her husband. I think he was her boyfriend and she lived with him.
Does anyone remember the episode with i think he was a hairdresser with a salon and he was out of control and the female employees cared for him when he was drunk or whatever?
Lawrence! https://intervention-directory.com/2012/11/episode-59-lawrence/
Easily one of the saddest episodes.
It really is. I wonder what it was about his story that made it stand out so much as being particularity tragic. Maybe it was just the extreme denial he was in?
I’m trying to find the episode of a young woman who got addicted to crack. She was beautiful, like she could’ve been a model. I do believe she had at least a son, and it’s not the Melanie episode. It’s driving me crazy!
Was it a intervention Canada episode? Because you could have been thinking of Melissa. She’s the only crack addict featured with a son that I know of.
Hmm, I went through the directory on this page to look at each individual person, and can’t find what I’m looking for. I must be remembering incorrectly. I swear it was crack though, but it has been a really long time since I have seen the episode. I’ll have to just re-watch a few of the ones I think it could be. Thanks!
maybe Latisha? she had two daughters as well as a son, though
There was an episode that featured two addicts who were boyfriend and girlfriend. The boyfriend had previously gotten sober and was only a few classes away from a degree in addiction studies (or something similar to that) when he relapsed. They were late to their intervention because the boyfriend was having stomach pains, so the intervention goes to them. When the crew arrives, the boyfriend and girlfriend are walking to the car to take the boyfriend to the hospital, and one of the family members jumps out of the car and confronts them because she thought they were trying to flee. Jeff was the interventionist, and kicked the family out of the intervention, and spent hours with the addicted trying to convince them to get on a plane.
I think you’re looking for Sam & Brad K. S19E1
I don’t remember anything about his degree, but it has been a while since I’ve seen this particular episode. Everything else you stated definitely happened in the Sam & Brad K. episode iirc
This is suuuper vague but there was an episode with a girl who had this big round container like a barrel or drum in her room that was just full of dirty syringes
She was young i think teens/early 20s
Addiction was heroin or some other opiate/painkiller, I remember she had really bad withdrawals (body cramps specifically if I’m remembering correctly)
I seem to remember the majority of the episode taking place in her bedroom
Pretty sure she either lived with her dad, or he came to her apartment daily to check on her
I think it was a more recent episode
Anyone remember this?
Hey Cami, you’re thinking of Shandon. Season 21
Yes! Thank you!
I vaguely remember one of the parents saying something along the lines of “she’s/he’s not even good at being a drug addict”
Yah I’m pretty sure that’s Cassie.
I remember Dallas’ dad saying that about her too.
It was so long ago, all I remember was a Latina girl who was addicted to meth and prostituting herself. She would drive around and smoke and take phone calls for possible dates. The key moment in the episode that stuck out to me was her smoking a pipe and crying into the camera saying that she wish she could stop but she couldn’t, and that she didn’t even like it anymore.
Cassie?
Christy? S2E18 or Cassie S9E5?
Hi. I believe that was Klea on a show called Addicted.
I swear I saw an Intervention episode but I can’t find it anywhere. I think it was in Canada but maybe not. It featured a female addict in her early 20’s. She lives with her mother and has a little sister who also has medical issues and has anxiety. The addict has dark hair and in the episode is visited by a guy friend who moved away from the area but comes back for the intervention. It is not Kaylene. Anyone know who I am thinking of?
Intervention Canada s02e04 Lyndsay ?
From what I remember, it’s a youngish kid who lives in a cold area, or maybe it’s winter. I believe he’s an IV cocaine addict. His mom gets paid an envelope of cash, maybe she’s a landlord or something, and he intercepts it and has a crisis of conscience on camera saying to himself “I know I’m not going to get away with this, she’s going to find out and I’m going to get in trouble so I just want to turn this money into drugs and do them as fast as I can to get the decision over with.” I tried looking through the episode directory and none of the faces rung a bell, so maybe it was Intervention Canada? Super grateful for any leads.
In pretty sure it’s Billy (season 2, episode 8; shared with Antwahn). I just rewatched that one and remember his mom hiding all of her stuff in her car.
Does anyone remember the episode in Canada with the lady who was in a band called Junkie and the Spider? Her name was TJ.
Hey JD, I remember that episode as well but wasn’t able to locate it in the episode guide on this site. I did a little digging, and her name is TJ Vandervelden. If you google her name, a lot of information comes up, including Intervention video clips. Hope this helps!
Which was the episode where the addict sold his mom’s van for like $300?
I think that was Vinnie from Florida
Sorry- he was from connecticut
Hello all! I’m looking for an episode that may or may not exist. Around 2006 or 2007 I remember watching a commercial for Intervention where clips of various interviews from the show were being played as sound bites. One of these clips was an adult female saying, “One time she was so desperate for a high, she shot up Windex!!”
I started watching the show more often, and over the years I’ve watched every episode I could find on YouTube attempting to find this episode. I never did find it. I’ve always wondered if it was real. Does this ring a bell for anyone? Thanks in advance!
Please disregard, I looked in the wrong place and assumed my post just didn’t go through for whatever reason. This has already been answered, and thank you to those who answered it.
I remember back in like, 2007 or 2008-ish there was a promo/short commercial for an Intervention Episode. In the promo, what I am guessing was an adult female relative of the addict said the line, “She was so desperate for a high one time she shot up Windex!!!”
I never did figure out which episode that was, if it even was a real episode. Anyone have any ideas? I would love to know if it was even real or if I hallucinated it (though I’m pretty sure I didn’t, I recall seeing it a few times and deciding to watch Intervention just to watch that part and never saw it).
Hey Willow, I think that was Angelina, season 5, episode 9. Her Mom is the one who made the comment about shooting up Windex. It was a crazy episode for sure!
Oh wow so I didn’t hallucinate it! Thank you so much!!
that was DEFINITELY Angelina. she was one of the sickest addicts depicted on the show.
i’m looking for an episode where the lady went to palmetto addiction recovery in louisiana. i think the lady was from wisconsin if i’m not mistaken.
That may have been Kristen from season 2. I can’t remember the facility she went to, but I know she was from WI. She was laying in the parking lot and kept saying “I can’t sign anything!” Left-handed from what I remember and she just kept scribbling on the paper when they finally got her in the office. One of my favorite episodes because it sounds like she is doing great now.
